First of all, allow me to apologise in the lateness of this review. I was sick over the weekend and as a result didn’t read as much as I wanted to. Secondly, wow. Just, wow. This book exceeded all my expectations and, as I’ve come to expect from Connolly, left me craving the next book.

The Winter People by Jennifer McMahon

Holy mother of Gods, this book!  There is more to this review but honestly you could stop now and I think that would have summed it up well.

The story in this book jumps between two time periods and is told through both diary entries (Mostly for Sara) and traditional narrative. Continue reading
